'tis the season.. road rash etc.

In the spirit of a fresh, new riding season and all that comes with it, lets try something a little different.

Instead of the usual RIP and " cagers" posts... lets try discussing and analyzing the upcoming rash of MC accidents in an abstract manner.

Take for instance:

So, what was the root cause? What could he have done different? Granted, there isn't much concrete info, but one thing jumps out...

Speed... in traffic... into the REAR of a moving trailer.

I can't honestly understand how you can miss a freaking house trailer, in front of you???

Less speed, more awareness, maybe target fixation, lack of skill?

Get the idea? Try and keep it civil and abstract and post up the articles/accident reports then discuss, and try and learn something from them...
The more you THINK about these things, the more you put them in the back of your mind... the better the odds YOU won't repeat them...
A wise man once told me: "No matter how fine she is, just remember. Somewhere, someone is tired of her !"

I like how the reporter noted that the mobile home driver was not hurt.

Judging by the video the side of the trailer was damaged so either the motor home changed lanes and didn't see him or the bike cut behind the motor home and hit the trailer
