A caution on the Silver Star bulbs.

Back in '01 I had them in my Mustang, and they worked flawlessly for years.

However, I picked up a Dodge Ram in 2007 and ran the Silver Stars in it as well, Lo's and Fog Lights. I drive with my Fog Lights on all the time, and I was blowing a fog light bulb every 8 months or so, alternating sides.

Recently I've heard of a lot of people having durability/life issues with the Silverstar line as well, so I've stopped using them. Just wanted to give you a heads up- it may not be the bike, it may just be the bulbs.
