Wednesday's official unveiling of the 2011 Ducati Desmosedici, plus previous studio shots of Valentino Rossi leathers, showed no sign of any Fiat branding.

Fiat, title sponsor of the factory Yamaha team from 2007-2010, was rumoured to be moving with Rossi to Ducati.

Those rumours now appear incorrect and, having left its position of title sponsor at Yamaha, the Fiat name is set to disappear from MotoGP.

Yamaha is yet to announce a 2011 title sponsor.

Will be very interesting to see how 2011 MotoGp plays out. I think Nicky and Valentino as a team can bring a lot to Ducati, they certianly were good teammates for Honda, looking forward to seeing how it works out for Ducati. I think Ben Spies will be a force to be reckoned with on a full factory ride! I'm still syched from watching these guys live at Indy last year. Watching live and watching on Speed are two completely different things, Those bikes are truly awesome!!!!

The bikes are sweet.

Wonder if anybody will organize a "watch meet". Would be nice to have a few adult beverages while watching them race.

I never understood why Ducati has yet to come out with a civilian version of their V4 since that is what they use in MotoGP. Anyone care to chime in?

I just want him (Rossi) to stay healthy and stomp a mud hole in Jorge's punk ! I was a little worried there for a moment wondering if Jeremy Burgess would go with him, but now he has his whole team, Rossi should crush him!

Reminds me of the old Yamaha Marlboro red in the 80's. Does my heart good to see Vale on a Duc though. Can't wait.
