i have to get real with you guys for a second. this isnt funny:

you know how we joke about guys who dont wear a lid, and the lid is strapped to side of the bike....and at least the bike is a little more protected. well it happened for real:

well, i almost honestly -slapped one of my customers yesterday. this very same thing happened to him. its weird, he seemed more or less allright, he told me he went down, and showed me the injury. pulled off his ballcap, and under it he was wearing like shower cap dealio. about 2 inch scar upside his head. id guess close to ten stiches. suffered a cracked skull. other than that, he was allright, no permanent injuries.

here is the bad part, of course he confesses to me he wasnt wearing his lid...and it was strapped to the bike...and no lie, he laughed and honestly said it was a good thing, cause it protected the side of the bike. :BangHead:

thats about when i wanted to come over the counter on him. its one thing to be an ignorant fool. its another to be that damned STUPID! its sad cause he is a very friendly guy. i guess he just isnt destined to make darwin's cut of the life roster...

...btw...

...this is the same guy who told me he wanted a chrome chain and asked if he could have his chain dipped. what am i supposed to do with these people??!?!?!??!
