Secret Forest Ride Saturday Dec 11 KSU 945-Moderate Ride Starting in Katy

Meet at 9:15-9:30 at the Starbucks off I-10 on Fry rd and Kingsland

Starbucks 19901 Kingsland Blvd, Houston, TX

Will ride out from Katy towards Brookshire. May ride up through Bellville on over north through the Prairie View on to The Forest. Many tuwisties up there and the ride is about 4-5 hours,,, can be longer if we decide to go on. Many of you might already know the route but we will decide as a group on the exact roads..... I have some nice spots to show some of you. Not sure if you all have seen them... Might try to meet up with the Noob riders later in the afternoon...

The pace will be moderate.. We will hit the turns hard and straits will depend on traffic. No one will get left.... we will slow each intersection and strait after each turn.

Rules
1, Ride on your side.. That means get in position but give your self some distance. Its a 2 lane highway..

2. Pass on the Left= State law wah..wah.. seriously!! it is so important that everyone do this because the right side should be your out. It will save your life...

3. Watch for Gravel and give other riders a heads up on hazards...
4. Don't slow down after passing...Someone is behind you!!!

5. Watch for gravel.

6. Read this before Riding. Its serious and can save you in the long run.. Ride your pace!! Catch up later... Thanks Racer X

No it is a secret to those who haven't gone... or at least used to be.

Holtzclaw... Well if he has nothing better to do than chase people for being free in this country then we might have to go slow and try to keep it quiet through that part.

Thanks bro, you guys have fun and be careful, take good videos. I think I might be off the monday after Christmas, so if any of you are available, we can go ride all day...I'll let you know.

The reason I am starting this ride from Katy is it is such a long haul up the freeways just to meet up with everyone else.. I think it is a waste of going up north if you dont hit all the curves on the way up there.. Plenty of curves on the east side of Katy up north through to Navisota..
