Yes this is cheaper than buying a new BMW, and will and stomp a hole in the BMW but your not comparing stock motor to stock motor anymore.

The BMW is a amazing machine but it will be interesting to see what the boys from Japan will come up with to be back at the top.

But as right now i believe the BMW has the crown as the fastest production street bike

I am in no way taking anything away from the BMW, it is a BADASS bike, but your compairing apples to oranges, those are sponsered bikes and in no way are they even close to stock! Id love to have the BMW, less weight, same power, more agile.....its a win win!

You are not going to make it to the 200 mph mark in one mile without nitrous or a turbo.

I think you are a bit backwards there. The KTM was pretty slow. it was the honduh that did work in that comparo.

You may want to ask Got-Busa about this. He went 203 something N/A with what I consider very little mods.

HP to weight ratio I lean towards the BMW

He made it there with a 40 mph tailwind.

I think he had a pipe, Bazzaz, ceramic bearings, sealed ram air tubes, stripped stock seat, J.Cheese tune, and MR9

It was not 40. I was there. Either way he did it. It proves its possible. He did it in the standing mile too. That proves the power and gearing can get it there. I think he was 1 or 2 down in the rear.

He wasn't stock. A stock busa or 14 will not break 200.

it's impossible to do it in a standing mile with a basically stock bike with only the speed restriction gone. i believe the gen 1 busa set up like that would go 178-182ish in the standing mile. I'm guessing the zx14 would also be real close to that. do an internet search before you spout out BS next time.

according to math stock gearing is 221 mph on a zx14, but obviously stock the bike doesnt have the power to push that.
