Alpinestars Reflex kneepads.
Super comfortable.
About $16.

Edit: Yup, same thing Versatile posted up.

We keep the Alpinestar Reflex in stock.
My concern with the other ones is that they are so strong it may transfer the force to your femur.

Seems like covering from the knee to the chin would make it hard to bend forward and ride comfortably...

I wear Answer MX style that I've had for quite a while. They basicly look just like the A-stars.

(Knee protection FTW!, long bones and even pelvises grow back, a ground off knee cap doesn't....)

I use the a* reflex as well. I had to get a new pair of jeans to accommodate them however. That is more a comment on my personal style than on the shin guards.

I have these also and feel naked/unsafe without them now. In my opinion these are better than the AlpineStars because the knee pad braces around the back of the knee (in addition to the shin guard). The A-star one only braces around the shin.

Conversely, my chest/spine protector from A-stars is completely superior to the ICON one.

I have the A* Reflex as well. I just wear a slightly baggier jean over them.
