Bandit 1200S Whatcha know?
In my searching for my next street bike I can across a 2005 Bandit. http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/1972543673.html
Online reviews are scarce and I know nothing about the bike.
Got an opinion?

Great all around do everything bike.. put close to 25000 miles on my 01 before I sold it.
Tons of torque, 114-120 hp with a good exhaust and jet kit
Stock suspension is not that good, but some cheap parts swapping to a Busa rear shock and GSXR or Busa front end will cure that.
Motor is a little buzzy at times, keep in mind it's 90's GSXR oil/air cooled tech.
Lack of a 6th gear can leave you wanting, depending on your sprocket set up.
A wise man once told me: "No matter how fine she is, just remember. Somewhere, someone is tired of her !"

i love mine, got over 60k miles at this point.
'97 with k6 gsxr 600 front suspension, swing arm, and wheels, k6 gsxr 1k rear shock, pods, exhaust, jetted, timing advance. runs like a scalded ape, even running taller than stock final gearing (going for lower highway rpm, like 2.85 vs. 3.00 ratio)
my only complaint about the bike is that i'm only getting 35-37 mpg, though that doesn't seem to vary whether i'm easy on it, or flog it constantly.
i do think that price is probably just a bit high though. i only paid $1800 for mine, and have a buddy selling an '02 (or '03) for about $2700 with upgraded suspension, saddle bags, and several other touring mods.
