Thanks for the replies. I picked up a New 2009 GSXR1000 last weekend. I went with state farm for insurance.

A busa or a zx14 will definately save you money on insurance. However, if you want full coverage on any SS bike its going to cost you an arm and leg, no matter who you are.

that's the way to go if you don't get full coverage...You ATLEAST want theft if nothing else...I just don't have the faith in other drivers to go without comp. and collision... I've seen too many threads here about hit and run and "other guy hit me without ins."..It would suck to have a busted bike in the back yard that you can't ride and still have to pay for when your ins. fixes another person's car...Good luck shopping and enjoy the ride...The GSXR 1K is a nasty bike fo sho!!!!!!!!
