I just got the Alpinestars Bionic Air, and it was really comfortable at the track this weekend. It allows air to flow through it really well, and is extremely light.

My personal favorite is the Knox products. I'm thinking of getting one of the new Knox Kompacts. I've had mine for years and it is still going strong.

Dainese w/ the suspenders and velcro belt. Feels like a part of the leathers to me, and it must have done it's job because I had a 60mph off with quite a bit of rolling and tumbling at GSS back in December and the back was the least of my worries.

That Knox stuff looks awesome.

I'm considering a chest insert and some of the new neck protectors as well.

Eh, most Icon gear is more flash than function. I don't know a single roadracer who wears their stuff.
Alpinestars Bionic is CE rated as is the Joe Rocket and are hard to beat for the price.

I've been highly considering the A* Bionic SP Vest too, but I already have a Fox Titan vest that I use for snowboarding.

Comparing the fit, feel, and finish of the A*, I felt more comfortable in the Fox and feel its back protector and all around padding are more robust and could withstand an impact better.

The Fox vest is CE rated, but it's labeled for use on mountain/dirt bikes. I'm not sure if it could serve a dual purpose for the street/track too. Thoughts from the gear gurus?
