No . For it to get totalled, must have been pretty jacked up during shipping.

Please explain how a motard gets totaled during shipping. . .I've ABUSED motards for a while, rarely is one ever considered "totaled".

Wow, sorry to hear that. Totaled or not, getting messed up in shipping sucks. Hope insurance takes care of it.

BTW, every bike and car I have ever bought I put insurance on before delivery. My bike came from Louisiana and I had it insured a week before it got here even though he hadn't cancelled his policy on it. Just added security. Something to think about in the future.

The shipping company is sending an adjuster today. Hopefully they pay for it. My insurance didn't go into effect until after it got here. It was crated so the forks slipped off the pallet and it just bounced around it the box. It scratched up the forks, plastics, and snapped the caliper off. The bike is only a maybe $6k bike and the forks are like $2,500. We'll see. I just went through this with my Tuono. If it doesn't get totaled it would be nice to have an extra set of forks and plastics. I have everything at home already to make it indestructible. Frame guards, radiator braces, hand guards, fork slider, engine sliders. If only I can get it home.

seems like whoever loaded it or the shipping company should be responsible for the damages. That sucks man, at least its a tough bike!

Went and looked at it today and it wasn't too bad but it is definitely damaged. If it wasn't for the caliper I could ride it. Forks aren't too bad. Probably just keep the cash for them and just ride it like that. Going to fix everything else though. Badass looking bike though. That's the first time I've ever seen one. Fit and finish is awesome. It's weird because it is just a dirtbike but you can still tell it's been designed by italians. Lots of trick looking bits like red valve covers, red and gold hardware, Marzocchi forks, etc. Needs a new set of bars though. I can't imagine them not getting bent when I drop it.
