It's was the most amazing time I've ever had on 2 wheels. Thanks Justin for the personal tour guide! Thank you Miranda for letting me be your co-pilot. We will definitely have go back. I've got a few more pics and vid I'll have to post later.

Alright my turn.

Sorry it took so long but I stayed in Colorado a little longer than expected.

The hill that claimed the clutch perch.

little steep

summit posers.

Water crossing

on our way out to the aspen loop

I think I like this look on the KTM

Some great single track riding

Just a friendly heads up, the white spots on these caps contain arsenic among other deadly chemicals. If you visit the forest and see these do not touch!

dirty bikes

My buddy Jon's first day of moto...he found a pole.

results of said pole discovery

$3 makers at a local pub.

Pedal bikes are the devil.

newly aquired hardware...

Bolam pass summit

Engineer pass. Last day of riding with some buds.

Old hydro electric dam from back before the turn of the century...impressive

sketchy old sign up there

this place actually has really good BBQ.

went down flat trakin outside lake city at about 50. You really dont realize just how fast your going until you dont have wheels underneath you anymore.

Engineer pass summit

we rode up this.

you heard right...UP. not to be confused with down.

Another fall in this section exacerbated the hand a little bit.

cool little lake at the top of poughkeepsie gulch.

Thanks for looking guys. Hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Chad and Miranda, Thanks for coming up. Had an absolute blast riding with you guys. Andy and Wes did as well. They said it was great riding with yall. Miranda impressed a few folks (myself included) with her vast improvement over the course of the trip. You guys are welcome back any time.
While Chad and Miranda were there we rode about 220 miles over four days. During my two week stay I put in over 440 miles on the KTM. Perhaps could have put in more but had some down time due to a blown shaft seal on my water pump. This will probably conclude my mountain riding for 2010 but I look forward to next summer. We should look into some late spring trips. Those are fun because you get to ride through 15+ foot snow walls on some of the passes. Im also looking into some winter trips around January or so to ski.

Cheers.

seemed to be a running theme for the trip. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. Pretty good turn out for a pretty hairy spill honestly.
