XM and Harley

XM, Harley Davidson Debut Road Tech AL20

XM and Harley-Davidson, the first motorcycle manufacturer to offer factory-standard systems from the satellite radio service on many 1996 and later models, are offering a new way for riders to enjoy their favorite "motor music."

The Road Tech AL20 XM Satellite Radio was introduced Monday at Harley-Davidson's national dealer meeting.

The Road Tech AL20 radio is mounted on the handlebar and available immediately through Harley-Davidson Parts and Accessories program for $249.95 MSRP.

The radio is waterproof with a crystal clear LCD screen and adjustable backlighting. Changing channels also is easy with the large backlit buttons. The radio kit comes with an automobile mounting bracket and an automobile kit from XM can be purchased as well which allows the Radio Tech AL20 to be easily transferred to a car.
Each of these satellite radios includes three months of complimentary XM service. The product will be featured in the August 2006 edition of Harley-Davidson's Genuine Parts and Accessories catalog.
The entire XM product line can be seen at the annual Sturgis Rally during the first week of August.

More information about XM can be found at http://www.xmradio.com.

XM Rocks. I HAD both. You suck

Seriously, I think it's all in the programming you like. I, for one, think Howard Stern is the scum of the earth + I like MLB.

80's on 8 isn't too bad but play a WIDE variety. There's Electronica on 82. I know there's a station which plays those 80's bands but I can't recall which.

see sirius has 3 80's stations,

first wave........the music i like
some rockin 80's........80's rock-n-roll.......rush, asia.....ya know
80's pop hits........madonna and top 20 stuff

XM sucks! if i hadn't of spent $500 to get XM to be OE in my van i woulda had it outta there within the first week.

still thinking about getting a sirius receiver box of some sort, and selling my XM and recoup some money's. vs listening to XM
