Im sure cali would agree. The engines and most other parts of the cars are pretty reliable and well constructed.. BMW just has to have the newest stuff that probably works out in some engineers design/numbers, but ends up failing in the real world.

Also all the small stuff adds up big.. bmw has never made a rubber bushing that didnt fail premature, and plastic cooling system parts are garbage too. Along with having 75+ modules that you have to depend on working just right. Otherwise the car will do all kinds of crazy stuff and kill the battery in no time.. It takes forever to do almost anything to them under warranty. So dont get mad if its in the shop for days over something kinda simple.
