I can understand that, by correct me if I am wrong. Didnt he turn around and start going the other direction ???
Yes that's stated in a couple articles... and if I were to guess, he'd looked behind to his left trying to check and see if he was being followed and veered into the path of the truck.

This would be my assumtion, that he knew that he was being followed and U-turned to go in the opposite direction. At that time the truck was making a turn and he hit it head on, which he might not have seen being it was dark and the truck looked to be half way through the turn.

But they also state that he was on the way to work and running late, if that was true. Then why didnt get just go straight to work ?? did he forget which way was work ???

Sam didn't have mirrors on his zx.. we talked about it a while ago how sometimes he doesn't notice cops are behind him in daylight. But at night its a different story

I'm still hurt.over this. Seems like just yesterday we were pullin the front wheel up on 45.

Hmm doesnt appear that way, appears to be one in the same. CR is Sam, which is the one that hit the 18wheeler in Galveston. I thought it might have been two seperate incidents also, cause of the name under CR is Arron smith and it says his age is 38 but the paper says 28. But if you look at posts/threads started by CR is says sam and his number in some posts.

This will not be the last MHer that this happens to. More and more people getting bikes and that means more runners and more dead.

We all make our choices. Just like the other day I chose NOT to run from a cop. I am here typing to tell the story.

J

theres a reason why people dont go by there real names. to the bike world, im known as aramis, and to girls that i talk to im known as aramis (this is only due to me taking them out into the "bike"world)

no Aaron was not suicidal at all. he had problems, and rode it away..
many of us Me included ride to get our minds off things. some of yall need a small mellow ride to just clear yalls head, but others like Aaron and I need a hard ride, something that will make us forget about whats going on at home. ive rode plenty of times with Aaron... he got me intouch with a Coast Guard Cheif. very nice guy, and he will be missed very much by me..

i would have been on the streets with him monday night, if it wasnt for my girl. he sent me a text about how he needed to get out.. i told him "be safe out there and we will ride Wenesday night" never again did i hear from him..

my heart sank when april (gixxergurloh2) sent me a text tuesday asking if i knew who died in galvestion.. she told me it was someone on motohouston, who had a black ZX14. a few tears came out my eyes. i called aaron maybe 100 times. sent him 100 texts.. i couldnt believe this .. only if i was there, maybe, just maybe he would be here today..

i would like everyone to respect this thread, and not do what many have done in the last.. Aaron left 2 kids behide. he was a great man, a great father, and a great friend to me...

Aramis, do you think it was wise of him to be speeding, running from the police with his lights off?

Not trying to instigate, I'm just really curious how anyone that does this thinks it looks cool and can justify it.

Lots of people have very different personalities online vs in person but he appeared to back up everything he said he did on here.

Having ridden with him, does/will this change your riding habits?
