Pimpin...you'll find it comes in handy for a lot more than just the river. Used mine this weekend during a crawfish boil. Lasted about 8 hours and counting utilizing the MP3 function. Let me know how that battery works out pushing that amp...how many amps? Final Cost?

The only concern I would have is amp or radio over heating

bwhahahahahaha, yeah, now they have a cart as big as a cooler, that doesnt hold any liquids, doesnt keep anything cool, just something big and bulky, that wont float on the river and will over heat. should have built a low profile radio flyer wagon, its not gonna float either and has more room for a small cooler with beer too.
Why not just get a radio,? seriously, I'm all for cool things, but this seriously looks like the novelty will soon wear off having to lug it around and such, , I'll bet you got enough money into that one you could have probably bought a pimp waterproof radio that jams.

hey Tim...where do you put your smokes when on float? Don't bug the guy with the dry cooler. I put all kinds of stuff in mine. Cigs, sunscreen, lighters, some food, and anything else I want to stay dry.

It will float in a tube...easily.

Not sure about his amp, but my cooler plays for 8 hours while sitting in direct sunlight with no issues.

Not sure about his cooler, but mine was built with a marine grade head unit and audio speakers. Find me a well built cooler on line that gets good reception, plays cd's, plays MP3 files, and SOUNDS GOOD, etc. You won't.

I know already said this, but his cooler isn't limited to just attending river floats.

Nice build Cajun!

Yeah, everything is water proof except for the 6 x 9's. Those are water-resistant but they wouldn't survive a "dip" in the river...a lil splashing or chucking of water wouldn't phase them though.

Preciate it Nah, they'll be fine...did a test out at a crawfish boil this weekend. Played Volleyball out in the sun for 4 hours with teh radio on full blast...was warm but nothing was even close to overheating (this was a concern early on)

1) It'll float just fine

2) It has room to hold stuff BUT that is not it's primary purpose...the primary purpose is to play music (I have other coolers to "hold stuff")

3) Why I built it? Because I wanted...

4) I'll give you that it could be a pain in the to lug around but if I find it annoying...I'll just build another smaller version minus the sub and the amp...
