well then you can pass a background check, your in. That is not what I said, have a felony conviction and tell or have them find it on a background check your done with no JOB.

There are exception to the rule, but very few. I personally feel sorry for some people with felony's that have served there time and keep paying the price with low pay jobs and they have already paid the price. That to me is wrong. But I would assume that you now actually dont think I dont know what I am talking about like you stated before. Either way does happen and I still believe if you take the deal or DA for a case your guilty.

You're manufacturing scenarios and assuming facts that are not evident in the documentation. According to the court docs, there were three separate stolen bikes in his possession. The rightful owners of each of these bikes were identified.

Your scenario does not fit the documented facts.

I think he was quite fortunate to receive DA, $1,000 fine and probation for 5 years.

Reminds me of the movie "Gone in 60 seconds" with a slight pun to the storyline.

Ok I was told by my lawyer not to respond to any of this but you guys are stating to cross the line. I look on here every day to see what new bashing would be posting on me and see its about 90%, all from people that dont know me or what happened, do you wonder why I took a deal. if I had any of you guys as a jury I would be hung.
Let me 1st get to the last comments that are said. These are the ones that cross the line for me. MONEY AND MY CARS, someone posted that I had a 67 Mustang fastback for sale not to long ago, also someone said my does not seem to be a problem. so now hear my part on how I got that car. One morning my father was driving with his best friend to go hunting at around 4 am. As my dads best friend was driving the truck he took a right hand turn a bit to fast, as the turn straightened up there was a small bridge (this is on a farm road) the small bridge had no rails on the sides so the front wheel fell over the side causing the truck to flip over into a small creak were my father was knocked out. His best friend was able to get out of the crash by using my dads pistol he had on his side to shoot the window out and craw to safety before the truck slid more and more into the water. My fathers best friend was a 62 year old man and was not able to pull my 205lb father out of the truck, all of this at 4 am on a farm road with no light and not many people driving by had to watch my father as he slowly slid into the water where he drowns to death. my father didnt have any life insurance but did get left with enough to by a dream car. I figure he would much rather me buy something with the money then spend it on items within a few years and have nothing to show for it.
So many of you just start bashing just to bash. If you dont know what happened of don't know me keep all your talking to your self.

As for as me taking DA. I will tell you what I was thinking and what some others on here had said.
There was a post a few pages back, A guy said he would take the case all the way to prove he didnt steal any bikes, thats cool but let me tell you why I did what I did.
I have a family. I have a wife of 9 years a 13 year old, 4 year old and a 6 month old. I was not going to take the chance in losing my case to prove a point. Think if I had any of you on the jury, you dont even know the story and already have judged me. you sit down with your family and say I want to fight this all the way to prove I didnt do this, tell them the risk is 10 year in jail if I lose, sorry guys I have alot of pride but when it comes to my kids I dont want to see them grow up behind a glass window.

First off, if what you say is true, than I'm sorry to hear that it went down the way it did and I hope you can recover from it all.

Note also that everyone in here is only basing their judgments based on the evidence they/we had at the time. Surely if this were to go in court there would be something more, including first hand accounts, to go off of and change our view of the matter. But who knows.
