KAW ZX6R 2009

Does a VIN lookup exist for motorcycles?

Buying a bike, what tools are available to ensure the bike is legit?

I did a search but only found vin search requests on CARFAX. The vin I have from a potential purchase does not pull up on the carfax.

The bike is a yamaha r6, considering mainly 2007ish CBR600rr or R6

You can also just call your local tax office that does title and they will tell you if it's salvage or not.
