I can walk into a room and usually tell if the tv or receiver is on with no volume or picture. That high pitch noise is irritating. Even some lights with dimmers make that noise. It used to drive me nuts at work so I just turned 'em off and worked in the dark. THAT drove other people nuts.

thx alot >< i just got back from the doctor after doing this thing. cause i turned it on, and my ears just started goin nuts, and i couldnt get it to stop. hit up the doctor and he gave me some ear drop things that are supposed to dull noises, so now i cant hear :P
