Intro

I'm not exactly new to Houston - been here one year this month. I relocated for a job, and formerly lived north of Atlanta. I've been sidelined with the move, work, travel for work and a nastly triple hernia that required a little operation last year. I haven't been riding much.

I really miss all of the roads and all of my friends back in the Southeast and need to get out more in Houston. We used to spend a lot of time riding the mountains and hitting track days. I built a few bikes and crew chiefed a season and a half for some endurance racing.

Could write a lot more, but it's getting boring already

Look forward to finding some good roads and some decent folk to ride them with. I'm older, slower, a lot more beat up and a helluva lot wiser than I used to be. Hopefully some other "seasoned" (read "middle aged farts") riders around that my wife and I can ride with from time to time. I don't have anything to prove anymore, just looking for smooth semi-sane fun at a moderately spirited clip...

Chad

Semi-old, yet still pungent fart checking in.
Welcome to the site.
I like riding with the older peeps myself also.

Like the saying goes..
A wise young rider knows all the rules...
A wise old rider knows all the exceptions.
