putting pig spotter mirrors on a machine that already has very poor aerodynamics makes about as much sense as putting a giant rear wing on a stock civic.
I mean, if you just like the way they look thats one thing, but to choose them as a means to improve aerodynamics...that just doesnt make a lot of sense.

i'd rather have functionality<--is that a word? and safety versus a set of cool looking mirrors that doesn't provide any of the two

I saw someone use their pigspoters to mount some sort of displays like one side was gear and the other side was their radar warning and used barend mirrors. Was a pretty cool setup

You cant see anything behind you except the inside of your elbow, only benefit is that they are technically a mirror which makes the bike legal. They look like utter t though.

My friend has a setp on his zx10 like this.

7' screen with two video inputs. mounted above the steering damper. 1 camera bolted to the right front mid fairing facing foward. And one bolted under the tail facing the rear. They are also night vision and see up two 35 feet. With just the touch of a button on the screen he can change angles.
Has no mirrors. just blockoffs.

He paid 99 for the screen at fry's and about 40-60 for the cameras.

Ill try and take pic next time I see it. It was pretty cool.
