Anyone Using the HARD System?

I am in the process of setting up a radar detector on my bike and I am curious about the HARD system. Patrick of Motorcycles Unlimited uses it, but seems to be one of the only.

I did a search on this site and found that reviews of the screamer system were kind of 50/50, and I did not find anyone, besides Patrick, who swore by the HARD system.

Many of the threads were out dated though also.

Anyone have one of these systems and think that it is worth the $150 over a simple set of head phones connected to the radar detector?

Try over on twtex.com there's more touring style riders that use detectors over there.
Many like the screamer, but I ride with ear plugs so the visual alet works better for me. Plus if I'm getting gas the damned thing isn't blowing me out while it picks up a false signal.

I have used my Escort Solo with a single earphone on bikes. Its battery operated and works as well as the Passport 8500 IMO.

Gone there, signed up, but waiting for someone to confirm me or something?

I did do a search of the forum for radar and radar detector and got basically nothing. As soon as I get confirmed I will just post a thread like this.

Kind of an interesting forum too... had never heard of it.
