Starting noise.....

I have an 03 GSXR and when I turn the key, the humming noise that it makes before you start the bike sounds different then before. Anyone know why this is?

Different how? Could be a couple of things:
A vent line could be pincxhed / clogged, the fuel screen in the pump might also be clogged.

Check the internal filter or make sure you have fuel in it... Or what PAtrick said about the vent lines.
