New group dedicated to twisty road group rides for beginner to intermediate riders

https://www.meetup.com/grandparkwaytwisters/

Grand-parkway Twisters (GT) is a group aimed at beginner to intermediate level riders who love group riding on sport-bikes on twisty roads...but (perhaps) dislike the endless "track day program" advertisements and "fastest riders rule the group" politics so many groups have.

It's a 100% non-corporate, non-sponsored, no-fee group I started to meet other riders who love free-spirited riding but are not just Harley riders (although if you can manage twisties on a Harley Lord bless you). :-D
If you have a bike that's fast enough to be highway capable (IE Ninja 250 or faster) that's good enough to keep up on our group rides on all the best twisty roads around West Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, and more.

Come join us!

Why? I bought my bike to ride, to destinations, around town, whereever. Having to tow it someplace to ride, only on specific days, make it too much like a trailer car. Wheres the fun in that?

Besides... I spend too much money on trips, guns and a car project to be able to afford track days!

It'd be nice to know more about the 'group' and their experience... but nothings been really said or done to warrant harassment at this point.

that's why it's good to use emoticons... kinda hard to discern
facial inflections etc over a message board. :-P

Where do they go when they graduate?

And do you encourage your riders to do track days?

Just curious.

well to me it dont sound to good, i mean op states if you have a bike that can keep up on the twisties. which indicates to me this will be a fast paced ride(s). ive been on some rides out there and were fast paced but it was well organized, and this guy is new on here so how is one to know the group riding style? no info provided at all , so that is why i say i see bad out of it.

actually he states that it's for beginner and intermidiate riders and if you have a bike capable of freeway speeds (like a ninja 250) you won't have any problems keeping up.....sounds like a slow pace to me....
