Aprilia RSV4-R: Who's Getting One?

The price for the Aprilia RSV4-R was announced this week at $15,999. This is only a few $K more than the Big 4 liter bikes.

http://www.aprilia.com/en-us/PowerNe...50/rsv4-r.aspx

The bike looks good in white:

John, I was trying to find a chart of all the 09 liter bike dry weights and came up empty. Have you seen a comparison chart?

zx-10 is 458 lbs (kawasaki.com) - must be curb weight, even though it's not specified.

gsxr-1000 is 448 curb weight (suzuki.com)

cbr-1000 is 438 curb weight (honda.com)

So with the Aprilia at 404 dry weight, if you add 3.5 liters of oil, 4.5 gallons of fuel, one gallon of anti-freeze, and the battery... that would be what, 460 curb weight or there abouts?

Makes the Aprilia seem a little portly.

... or maybe a R1000RR with different lights?;

Oh wait... It's a modern sportbike! They all kinda look the same in one way or another, so they must all be copying from each other, eh?
