Opinions on Oldwings?
So, doing some snooping around. What is your opinion on Early Goldwings? GL1000, GL1100, and GL1200?
Have you ridden one? How was the handling? Does the weight really kill it?
Would you get one if offered cheap?

my opinion is that they are ugly. the fact that they are usually still riding around all over the place says a lot of good about the quality of the bike though.

Honda XL 600
I hate to admit it but I would take any year oldwing.
I drove an 05 for the cycling judges at the Woodlands Triathlon one year.
Not nearly as heavy as it looks. I would even say "flickable".
I'll eventually get one.
