any veypor users?

when i first got my bike i considered getting a veypor unit to replace my stock unit, since the tach was broken off by the previous owner. at the time the price seemed a bit high (i think it was $280?). i just looked at veypor gauges again and the price is $159 now, making it that much more appealing.

has anyone used this? installed this?
overall impressions? was stock better? how is visibility?

I haven't personally used one, but I've seen quite a few on SV's. Most people use this setup when going from a faired to a naked setup. Pretty sweet setup, the only tough part of the install is the speedo pickup.
