FYI, Alvin road conditions

Just an FYI for ya'll out there. At the intersection of 35 (bypass) and Hwy 6, there seems to be oil or something on the road, This is the intersection by the WalMart . I exited 35 going South and made a left on Hwy 6 (towards Santa Fe)in my truck yesterday in the rain and the truck got crossed up a little. Just be safe around there, especially if it's raining. Definitely something on the road there right now.

This wasn't the norm. Seems something was spilled there earlier in the week.

That intersection is always super slippery. My car always starts sliding out under there in the rain, especially.

something did spill there.... not sure if it has made it any more slick than it already was. all the new construction around there has a generous helping of sand constantly in the road way now days. point is that it is a bad intersection wet or dry.
