How tight should boots fit?

I just received the SIDI Canyon GoreTex boots, size 42UK. A 42-43 UK shoe is usually a relaxed fit, but on these boots my toes barely touch the ends. It's pretty snug with a thick sock.

Will they loosen up over time? I'm debating sending them back to get the 43's, but not sure if i should.

sidi's fit a little narrow. i had to go with the bigger size because my pinky toe touched the tip and it was painful and annoying. they will not loosen up the way you want them to. my a star boots were made for wider feet and fit more true to size. i wear sidi vertigo corsa airs and their great. if you go 1 size smaller will they be too tight? because they are'nt gonna stretch in the toe area.

i think this makes him look human. you always get people thinking they soooooo perfect, well your not. at least Obama was cool enough to be himself. thats why i look up to him, he's like an average black male but with intelligence. -Actual Quote from a Barack Obama supporter
