well, now Im up in the air, since my newer bike has a different designed case, ie; transmission is a freaky thing and the cases have to be split to do this, I am told i should just search for an older 96 range bike that has a heavier case, old style tranny door and use it to make a hotrod out of, I dont want a chopper, i want to build a "streetfighter" style bike, the older ones are smaller and lighter, so they would real world be a better canidate for the 88 conversion. Plus, riding season is upon us and I am finding its not just a case splitting issues and case boring issue, with mine, i will need different flywheels and also to have then balanced. So end result, I think I'm gonna pimp mine turboed and fix the fueling issues and just be happy as is and search for a project bike to work on and tear up. I dont really hot rod mine anyway, just built this becaise its different.
