I'm in Spring. I've done it before, not looking forward to spending a hot afternoon wrenching. I work 6 days a week, would much rather spend my day off riding.

Doesn't muffler shops do these things too? I would just take it to any mechanic and get it done.

I did an integra too LOL. I had a spring compressor but was still scared it'd shoot right through me. I placed a tire on top of the spring/shock assembly and had a friend stand on top of it before I released it. The job took me almost 6 hours to do, not looking forward to it.

I called Nathaniels, seems like an upstanding guy, I'm probably just gonna take it there unless something closer turns up.

They said typically around $150, but since they've never done my car before (Lexus IS350) it could be more depending on the suspension setup. It's gonna be the Eibach prokit and I'll need an alignment a week or 2 afterwards also...

you'll want to do your alignment ASAP, you may also void some warranties by "dropping" it........after having 2 lowered cars, i wouldn't do a 3rd........get bigger sway bars.

thanks for the replies. There's like a 5 finger gap in the front makes it look offroad. I think the drop is only 1" front and 0.8" rear for the ProKit, I'll probably get an alignment right afterwards and another one 2-3 weeks later after it settles.

it's not the drop, but the spring rate that effects ride quality. i have yet to see lowering springs w/ the same spring rate as OE. therefore a much harsher ride.......in a lexus......nono. nice ride though.

the IS350 is pretty cushy, I guess if it's a bit firmer I'd be ok with it. The wife drives a G35 coupe, and it's pretty stiff, hopefully the Prokit on the Lexus won't be as stiff.
