WTB: DIRT GEAR

Looking for dirt gear.

I wear a XL in Shoei Street helmets

44, L in suits/pants/jackets

9.5-10 in boots.

I'm trying out dirt so, looking for cheap, not new. Does Not have to look pretty, just functional.

I got some stuff dude....I don't foresee me getting back into that game anytime soon with my knee. I'll probably get another when my boys get older, but that's a ways away. Let me check what I have at the house....I know I have at least 3 or 4 pant/jersey sets, maybe a pair of boots if they aren't dry rotted by now and a helmet. Probably have a chest protector, gloves, and other odds and ends.

He's now got the gear he needed. Go hit the trails! For you other dirt riders out there, I have a sets of Metzeler knobby tires on sale for only $79 for BOTH tires. It's the best knobby tire deal I've every had. Only sizes available are 80/100-21 front and 110/90-19 rear.

Always happy to help, If anyone would have dirt gear on sale it would be Cycle Shack given the amount of off road gear we keep in stock. Now go have some fun getting dirty!

Bill, bring some tires home tomorrow and I'll come pick them up from you.. I need the Michelin mediums though, Scott knows which I need.

These dang Cycle Shack North guys are awesome.

If not the above, the following weekend is a TORCS race in Bastrop area.

If not either of the above, we have a 24 hour race the weekend after in North Texas, any of the 3 will give you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into..

If you decide not to join us for the above, let me know when you're ready to do a real woods ride and I'll meet you, maybe even give you a few tips and tell you some tricks to save some energy and look halfway like a "pro" crasher!

Kisatchie Nat’l Forest is a good alternative too, pretty wide open trails that flow nicely.

I'll give you a call in a bit and get it handled. No problem at all for me to bring them home if that's more convenient for you. I'm not surprised you like the Michelin StarCross 5 tire, I think that's probably the best knobby currently available and unlike a lot of Michelin tires is not any more expensive than a Dunlop or Pirelli.
