I work Friday until 8 pm. Would be a real hassle to go home and load up the bike myself in the dark then drive to the hotel. Not everybody is 6'5 and 200 pounds worth of muscle

Just a reminder for those thinking of riding up sat. morning it will be at least a 3 to 4 1/2 hour ride dependent on where you live in Houston. We plan to leave at 9 am. sharp. Hate to see yall get there late and miss the group.

I'm in for sure! I will be coming up Friday late afternoon. I'm gonna offer spots on my trailer. I Have a 16 foot tandem axle trailer with trailer brakes I will be using. Two spots already taken. I've never had bikes on it but think it should hold six. I will be adding D ring tie downs so I can secure the bikes. I Just ask you bring your own ratchet staps/ tie downs and bar harness to secure your bike. I Do Not have enough to secure more bikes then my own.
Gonna bring this up now too. I'm doing this for free and as a favor to anyone who wants to go but just cant get their bike there. Unfortunately accidents happen and I wont consider myself liable for any damages. So please have insurance if you're really worried about it.
But I'm really looking forward to the trip and seeing everyone out there. Shoot me a message on here if you need a spot on the trailer.

Hi Whiskey, if I could get a spot on your trailer, it would be great! I will bring all the straps/tie down for my bike. Will PM you to work out the logistics.

UPDATE: My good friend Bud who is Budzrex on the board here has graciously offered to lead a group for newer riders who want to enjoy the Hill Country but may not feel comfortable at a faster pace. Bud knows the area extremely well and has lead many rides. His knowledge of the area makes it perfect for those who have never ridden there. This will be a perfect chance to experience the ride in a very relaxed non-stress way. I will make a sign up for that group and my group. Please post which group you want to ride in.

Thanks for the intro Keith, I am happy to lead a group at a more relaxed pace. The Hill country is my back yard so I can rip on it anytime I feel like pointing a bike out of the garage.

For any of those riding up, if you care to you can ride to New Braunfels and follow me out to Keiths starting point in the morning

Morg / Bud / Whiskey - I love how you guys have teamed up on this. Thank you.

I am still working out the details for myself, but go ahead and put me down.

Whiskey, I would greatly appreciate a spot on your trailer. I have my own Canyon Dancers.

And I will take a spot in the relaxed pace group. (Sorry, Keith, I know that breaks your heart.) This will be my first time riding in the hill country, plus I've been dealing with a foot injury for the last 6 months and have only been on the bike a handful of times. I'm pretty rusty and need to take it easy as the foot is still healing.

Looking forward to the trip. Should be fun.
