Someone on a FB page I'm on is trying to track down a specific older 911.

Any chance someone on here can help hunt down where this car might be?

VIN 9118200409

1978 Porsche 911sc in blue.

It had been in Austin area in 1980.

Actually I was just trying to help find it for poster on the FB page I mentioned since he (or she) had mentioned they were looking for this specific Porsche.

Thought it would be nice to help him (or her) out.

I think we all have had the one motorcycle or car we sold or lost that we wanted to find and buy back.

I know the feeling. I would love to find my childhood xr70. Or my first gen taco I sold on Craigslist. I needed the money then, but now I look back and I was just thinking why the did I sell it. 600k miles. I wanted to take it to the million.

Call the local tax offices in the area, or do a vin lookup dps style.
