BBQ Thread

Hey everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and while I'm just getting into bikes, I decided to ask community - what's your poison on lockdown? I am trying to experiment with BBQ, so I'm grilling almost every night. Will appreciate if you share your experience- pics, recipes, anything meat related!
For example, here is the lamb I was busy with last night

I love lamb, but I don't think I have ever heard of it being barbecued. Why not ? 8^)

Depends on origin of the meat. Imported lamb has a gamey taste because they don't finish them off on grains. Domestic lamb meat are grain finished, so they are less gamey. Depending on the wood you use to smoke the lamb, will also change the flavor profile. I have found apple/grape wood works really well when I smoke lamb... but that is my acquired taste, so it may/may not be amazing to you

I've never been much of a griller/BBQ guy, until my neighbor died, and his wife gave me his Traeger wood pellet grill. I LOVE IT.

So I'm making all sorts of wierd concoctions, with the food, and all the different flavors the wood pellets come in. All the typical smokes, but they have Lienekuegal flavor, and a ton of other intersting pellet " smokes" i want to try.

spelling is wrong im sure)

( if you are a pineapple on pizza person, you should try ) Cinnamon seasoned tilapia... ( sprinkle a little cinnamon/sugar on, leave wrapped in foil, comes out with a nice glaze.

Canadian maple marinade argentinian shrimp.

I mix a lot of seasonings/marinades up with my seafood. But i'm digging the wood pellet grill.

You nailed it! A touch of smoke ring too

Keep on practicing till you get the same exterior, but a nice 1/4" consistent smoke ring all the way around.
