Cota is a little long for the 300, but it's fun as . Pretty much all full throttle and let the slipper do it's job in T1, 11, 12 and 20.

I destroyed my knee pucks with my little 300

It's actually gonna be cool for me. I'm packing my stuff in a van. I'm even bringing my tv and gaming console that has MotoGP installed and I'll be getting some virtual practice in the day before. Lol feel free to challenge me to a time attack if you're up for it. I'll probably be the only dude hauling a motorcycle in a Dodge Grand Caravan. Look forward to seeing you there.

Suggest extra care on T1, that's one of slickest turns in the track and temps may be in the 50s that morning. I lowsided on my first lap when it was 85* in August so can't imagine what it's like in late November... and that's why I'm not going

Still recovering, from my crash at the Mad Dog Nationals.

I can walk & ride a bicycle pretty well, but took the R1 around the block last night and it hurts to downshift (pulling up on the GP shift).

I will be instructing level 1, so it should be cool.
I know a few had requested that I work with them in level 2 & 3, but not feeling like I can run a decent pace for a few more weeks.... But once I get back on the track and run a few laps, this might change.

Be sure to get there early so you can complete registration and tech and be ready for the track drive that starts around 7:30am. I will be covering some very valuable information as we take an early morning tour of the track. If you are a level 1 or level 2 rider, I highly suggest attending.

See yall there. Weather is going to be awesome!

I went to MotoGP in April and it was insane. I can't believe I'm going to be riding on the same track as the BIG BOYS!! Just wish I could go as fast as them! Gotta start somewhere, I guess. Gonna be fun!

Thanks. It's a ton of fun on a 300. On that run, I had only had the 300 for about 3 weeks and had only ridden it about 200 miles on the street. I took it out for the last session of the day (I ran the 996 the rest of the day). It took a few laps for me to get use to it.

I need to load another vid from when I took it to cota in August. I did a bit better and took it out for a couple of sessions. It's fun to run up on bigger bikes in the twisties, but only to be left in the dust in the straights

but it's all good.

Btw: a scorching 101mph (gps'd, speedo registered 106) in the back straight is all she's got with my big on it.

Definitely let the track warm up before you start pushing it. I was there last March when a freak cold front blew through (first session of the day was 45/50 degrees)...it might as well have been a slip'n'slide with all of the people going down on cold tires.

We did an autocross, then skidpad exercises.

Then we started doing sections of the track. End of the day we were doing full hot laps around the track.
