Technician for HD kills himself on a busa joyride

https://www.torontosun.com/news/toron...1/7493166.html

HD tech decides to take a ride on a customers busa, cracks the throttle, and kills himself running into the side of a building.

Bad decisions equal bad results.

yes, that happened like forever ago. And it wasn't a "tech"; more like a kid sweeping floors that had been told repeatedly not to get on customer bikes.

Well I look really stupid for bringing up old , but I didn't mean too, and it still sucks for the guy that died. Maybe this is a moment to remember something that could have been avoided and possibly save someone's life in the process. It is a well known fact that history that is not studied is bound to be repeated. Still not trying to make up for the fact that I got my info wrong though.

By the way, I am glad that i am wrong that someone died recently. I wish every rip ended in some poor sap explaining how they got it wrong. It would be way worth it.

I heard about this right after it happened two years ago. It WAS a technician. He was trying to show off on the Busa, nailed the throttle and realized too late that he was heading for the metal stage WAYYY too fast, but with the gravel driveway, he had no way of stopping. If I am not wrong, he hit the stage at over 60 miles an hour and was killed instantly. RIP for his family. THAT is why noobs shouldn't try to learn on liter-plus sized bikes! If he had kept his azz on those slow Hardleys, he would probably still be alive today.
