razor rsf350 mini fun

I recently found out of a group of guys out in College Station that get together and race modified razor electric kid's pocket bikes. it looks like a fun way to get in some cheap racing. i'm going out there on Saturday to check it out, and buy a bike off of one of the guy's running things. I dont imagine i'll be able to meet with them a whole lot in CS, since it's an hour from my house, and 2 ours away if I leave right after work. I imagine i'll more likely be throwing some cones out in the parking areas of west Montgomery county park. Would anyone be interested in getting into this? if this becomes a thing, maybe we could even rent a kart track occasionally. i have no clue. this looks like a lot of fun though.

This is what we used to do at Monday Night Minis on honda 50's. I ride my fiddy more than anything, its a blast, I can wheelie it a mile.

I have a RZR 500 in my garage that needs batteries ($75) I'll sell for $50 if you want it.
Its like the 350's big brother.

Its this one:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Razor-MX5...ed&athena=true

Plastics are faded from sitting in the sun, but last I checked it was still showing the motor worked. I bought it with intentions of my 6 year old riding it, but never got the new batteries so it has just sat. (The boy is on a CRF70 now).

Its actually about the size of a CRF70 or PW80.

Batteries are from 75-120$

cool, yeah, i'd totally love to buy that off you. it would probably be similar to the 350 once i put the larger motor in it. can i come pick it up tomorrow or saturday? that way, i could get a friend or one of my kids something to race against.

video from yesterday's race. i'm the slow boi out there, firmly in last place lol. this was the first race with all modified rsf's.

anyone want to get into this? it's a lot of fun. i'm not a good racer, but for ~$300 it's a fun way to get into it and work on your skills. i need to practice more, but cant make it out to bcs every week. i'd like to get something going in the montgomery or conroe area.

The ego 56v mod takes $80-100 in batteries and a $30 controller/throttle kit.

It's HELLA FUN
