2.5" of rain through the night, and I will bet that we had another 1" (or close to it) between 7AM and 8:45AM. It is swamp land up here....

I HAVE TO ride in it BUT I could have stayed home so I still CHOSE TO ride in it.

aside from very limited visibility it was ok. I mean if u can get past not seeing ish, then it was actually wasn't so bad of a ride. it felt pretty good. even tho I almost had an electronic device casualty

For the people who do commute in the rain, what do you do when you get to
work?

I'm blue collar so I have a uniform waiting for me and I keep spare socks and underwear at work. My gear is in a corner of the shop right now with fans on it drying out.

What do you people who have "white collar" type jobs do?

I normally don't have a problem. I put phone etc in backpack under my gear. but I have a dogtag-like bluetooth device and I guess I had too much faith in my rain gear. this jacket zips up so I was wet right along the zipper line...and where do dogtags hang?

its working propery now after drying out, but it gave up the last 5min or so of the ride

What is recommended for rain gear? Just the basic yellow suit? How protected are u with rain gear, alwAys u r going to get wet but how much?

I wanted so badly to ride today but didn't and cuz of that. 1:missed a class. 2:had to park 2buildings over cuz campus if over crowded

leaving work in the rain!!!!!!!

since your going home, you dont have to worry about getting wet, and explaining to workers/boss!

no "stoopud" rain suit for me!!!

Wasn't that bad..got a little wet once I got on 59 for a whole 30 seconds...but it was just sprinkling when I left

Nice ride home. Cloth were dry by th etime I was ready to leave, overcast to broken sunshine by the time I got home. Cool temps, clean roads. Air cooled bike liking the cool air.

Was SOOOOO worth the thunderstorms in this morning.
