Track Lingo

Never been to the track, could someone fill me in on the LINGRO but keep it GRINGO. Like dont they usually split people up into two groups, the experienced "FAST" and novice "SLOW"

Usually split in to three groups. One really slow group, one kind of slow group and one group with some slow people and some fast people.

........and some organisations have really fast guys on small bikes that can only ride in the kind of slow group for safety reasons.....

.... eventhough those guys could ride faster than 1/2 of the people riding in the "fastest, but not too fast" group.......

Up here (north of the wall) all track orgs do Novice - Intermediate - Advanced
Novice being slowest
Intermediate is where most people are
Advanced is race practice or darn close to.
