I watched a guy do it here at wotk the other day. He knew nothing about comps. He looked it up on google and followed the instructions. He bought a new screen on the net for 100. He is not happy with the brightness but it works.

how about title your thread appropriately. pm me the make and model and ill send you a price. fyi, some cases your better off buying a new laptop as the screen costs more than a new equivalent laptop sometimes.

not specific enough. there are many dv6xxx series. send me the p/n number. located on a sticker on the bottom with the serial number. that identifies your exact model.

for instance mine is a RB519UA or RB519UA#ABA ect.
