In MO for the month: anyone know some local riders?

Title pretty much says it. I'll be in Springfield, MO for the next month; drove my bike up from Houston on Sunday. I'm hoping to take full advantage of these incredible roads while up here

Anyone know some local riders? I'm hoping to have a little group, as these roads aren't nearly as forgiving as the TX ones have been

Thanks!!

Feel free to shoot me a text at (417)720-2276

Loved MO! Hated not having phone signal in the mountains! Also, there's a lot of twists with loose gravel out there and watch out for the cattle trucks... They fly through those corners out there! If you smoke cigs, it'll be heaven for you.

Yep these roads are great! I was raised out here and always dreamed of hitting them on a bike.

The lack of cell service and random gravel bits are what I'm concerned about. Also Austin did not prepare me for these crazy dips. of a rollercoaster

Yes! When I started truck driving one of my first loads had me jake braking like crazy to keep my rig at speed limit. My favorite chicken fried steak was @ Hoods Service Center off 44 on exit 61... It's like a truck stop was put in a time capsule!

Here are some good rides for you.
Take 60 east out of Springfield about 10 miles to 125 south. Stay on 125 down through Chadwick to Bradleyville to Rueters then turn right on 160 to Forsyth. Stay on 160 until it runs into 65 North back to Springfield.

Another good ride is the same route but on the south side of Chadwick turn right on HH and take it down to 160 and turn right and go west to 65 then back to Springfield.

If you want a longer ride, come down 65 almost to Branson and turn right on 160 over to hw 13. Turn left on 13 down to 76 west and go right on 76.
Go west on 76 almost to Cassville and turn left on 86. Take 86 all the way back east to 65 then north to Springfield.

All of these routes will have more curves and hills than the entire state of Texas!!
Enjoy!!

PM me if you would like to ride the 160, 76, 86 route on Saturday. I live just south of Branson.
Sorry I didn't see your post until today.
