Back in may of 2018 I was having a hard time and I was just reading thru the dm's he sent me talking to me about it and genuinely helping me out. He was very caring despite how some felt about him here, and I will hang on to these messages to help keep the memory strong.

Speed fast Bill!

I was lucky enough to have an epic Bandera trip with him a couple years ago. The speed was fast and the drinks went down faster after the ride. That night is what Iíll always remember him for. The rest of the online banter is just that.

If that's the same night I'm thinking about - he called me from the "after ride" event asking about how long the battery would last and still start his wing if he played crazy loud music on the wing while parked

I was just thinking about that nut today and his Goldwing antics. He was a hoot on WFO and definitely a legend.

From his daughter, Gracie -

Quote:
The service for our beloved daddy will be on Friday January 10th at 1 PM at Seaside Memorial in
Corpus Christi. Daddy went to heaven on Friday January 3rd. We will be celebrating his life and ask that
everyone have a special memory of my dad to write down. Thank you for prayers and please keep them coming.

Yep! That's my favorite GB content: him riding the 'wing from the back seat. I took a stab at that in Wyoming on a road trip a few years ago in homage to him.
