Houston Wheel Truing Service? (Spoke Content)

Looking for someone to true my old CT110 wheels. Doubt they’ve ever been trued in their life.. Would also have them mount HD tubes while they’re in there.

Anyone know of a shop with these capabilities? Guys over at Global Motorsports didn’t know of anyone..

Thanks!

Long shot, but would a bicycle shop do it if you brought them the wheels?

I’ve thought of approaching them, but wasn’t sure if they’d appreciate much heavier wheels on their stands.

Will reach out and see. Thanks for the suggestion.

Follow-up. Spoke with a nice woman at Motorcycles Unlimited. They use a company out of California to true their wheels.

Buchanan Wheels. Looks like they charge around $120/wheel not inclusive of shipping there and back.

Follow-up #2. Motorcycle wheels are too wide for bicycle truing stands.

May be time to invest in the tooling for myself!

If you can mount it on the swingarm use a pointer or dial indicator for the vertical and horizontal runout. I did some a few years ago, spent a lot of time but got them within .010"

Greg Draper can do it. He's quick and local. Also does coatings as well.
