Came out great, dude. You can see how much prep you put in when you check out the painted pic. Gives a good foundation for color paint/powdercoat (since its metal).

Black always looks good, but I like your idea of a pop of color.
Blue matching the pots on the caliper might look cool.

I like the blue and gold idea. It's nice to be different and suits your character well

How much time have you been practicing welding? If you need flat bars to practice on, I know where you can find them.

Flip! How ya been buddy?

I did a semester at COM for welding awhile back and I recently purchased this cool little Lincoln 140 with a nice sized bottle of C25 gas. I have literally used it everyday the past two weeks.

Mostly stuff for my truck or trailer

Thats a flatbed with auxiliary tank on a Ram 3500, ďmade from scratchĒ

Last year, quit at the end of the year once I had all my ducks in a row. Those are my own #ís so I donít have to deal with a company or dispatch. I had no idea Nesto got into this I just made the move because itís fairly easy to start your own.

Whatís going on in Cali?

Nesto went into hot shots for a minute using his buddies numbers, but he had some baby mama drama that required him to come home

That's good you have your own authority! Lots of freedom securing loads that you can control 100%

I stopped truck driving and the wife and I are now property managers. We manage a farm stay on a vineyard. LOTS of awesome roads out here to be on 2 wheels!!!

It's a vineyard for Pinot Noir. We are north of San Francisco in Sanoma County. If you find yourself sometime this year in San Francisco's area, you ought to give me a shout. I got an extra motorcycle you can throw a leg over and we can go ride.

I use to hate the speed limit for pulling trailers too, but I love traveling through California. Once you learn the highways and find the spots, you can truck on with confidence and start enjoying the scenery. Too bad you don't have a sleeper on that truck of yours.

Thatís awesome, do you do the farming or just oversee operations?

I was in the heart of San Francisco last month...what a dump. Good thing you got a little outside the city I bet itís beautiful there right now.

I sure will keep that in mind, thanks for the offer man.

The mega cab is my sleeper, has a twin size memory foam mattress and that generator powers a 115v window ac unit when itís too warm, this way I donít idle the truck engine.

We actually caretake the house, the immediate property around the house, the driveway, and the perimeter fence lines. The vineyard is managed by a 3rd party company and the owner/wine maker. It's pretty hands on though, as we are responsible to perform all the landscaping, pool/hot tub care, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs for generators and other property equipment. There is also the cleaning aspect and hosting when there are guests (the house is a farm stay vacation rental)... So much more involved. Let's just sum it up to it being a full-time job for a couple.

Yes. We are north of San Francisco (about 45 miles) in Russian River "wine country". The city can be a dump, but for the most part, everything is getting gentrified and the cost of living is getting really high. Which leaves a lot of homelessness in the inner cities (especially Oakland areas) and some places can get stacked up so badly, you would think you just stepped into a movie set of Demolition Man.

Well ! How does your tall sleep comfortably in that thing??? I couldn't imagine you're left with much room...

I spent a few months in Sacramento and up into Paradise last year doing recovery management after the Camp Fire. I was floored by how gorgeous it is. Managed to rent a bike and ride the 1, too. T'was awesome.
