I just wanted to say

that I'm so glad I bought my motorcycle

Back when I had my other bikes, I wasn't making as much money and I think paying $300+ for a brand new R1 plus insurance was busting my more than I was able to enjoy it, thus me selling it.

Then when I bought the V-rod, I just flat out didn't like it, thus me selling it.

Then almost 2 years later I bought the R6 with hopes of tracking it out and when I low-sided at 5mph I took advantage of the broken headlight assembly and stripped her down for the track.

After riding the track for nearly a year... I really missed being able to hop on the bike in between track days, since that was my only bike.

Now that I've sold the R6, and found the first Duc of my dreams I can say that it has been the "best buy" of my life so far. I love waking up every morning (weather permitting) and opening the garage door, rolling the beauty out of sleep, and checking her tire pressure before hearing her growl. I don't even mind cruising on the HOV to and from work

Ok, story time is over... I just had to say that.

I'm easy to please, got a gsxr and been pretty happy with it. I've never ridden any other sport bike so I wouldn't have anything to compare. Other than commute, I get to ride twice a week max.

Sounds like you actually got to try out several bikes before having something to compare to and finally be happy with.

You should have no problem saving him from a 5 mph lowside.

congrats... no point in having a bike if you don't enjoy it! Especially with the weather we've been having.

Oh, and I can't even save myself. So just save yourself...

I like my bike so far...

Just some days I wish I had a windscreen to duck behind

Thats the beauty of bikes, there is no "BEST" or "end all" bike. Every bike has a feature or trait someone loves.
Even the gixxer?
