SHNF after the rain?

Have never rode there. So I am wondering how long the trails take to dry out after the rains? Was thinking of taking my e-bike. So the trails need to be pretty dry. I was reading on the Jack Brooks Park Mountain Bike bicycle facebook page that the Double Lake bicycle trails are good to go right now. Will the OHV trails be the same?

Edit: The trail report line was busy when I called. Is it an automated call that will give you reports on the weekend?

The Jack Brooks trail is the ! Loved that intense I drop ramp... The Widowmaker??

They take a while to dry if they have gotten alot of rain.

When my dad took us out there with mountain bikes the first time, that was the first trail we saw. For the rest of the day I was so chicken about everything else.

It really depends on which trail. Some are lower than others, and several of them don't have much of an elevation change, so the water will sit for a while. It seems to me that the East side trails don't stay as muddy, but that is an unscientific observation.

I really like a little moisture as it makes the dirt "tacky" rather than sandy.

Home stretch usually dries quick. Just stay left and take the board embankment, rather than going straight and running through the dirt next to it (may stay muddy)... Hope you had some luck and was able to ride already.
