Nuviz I think will be a better product/solution. I can pick the helmet I want and attach it like a sena.

I was not expecting such a high price tag .. $1k maybe but 1300-1500 crazy ... great gadget but unless I hit the lotto this will be a "man that would be nice to have". Also pay now ... and not receive until may 2015 -- if they go belly up bye bye money.

Some of these idiots can barely focus on riding. let alone a GPS back up camera and their GF at them for being out riding lol

$1500 to not have to turn my head to look behind me, and I don't have to clip a GPS to my handlebars... If this doesn't have SHOEI quality, I don't see this being a terribly useful product, granted it is cool as . Reminds me of the iPad.
Doing a little looking, I don't see any mention about the primary function of a helmet: protecting your f*cking head. |

The last thing I want or care about when I'm riding is to know who is trying to call me. Anything worth talking about is worth pullinh over for. Call me old school but I use my GPS like a paper map. I prefer to have the route in my head not on the tiny screen on my bars. The weather thing might be cool, but really the only info truly useful is rpm and gear indicator. Just my opinion though. For 15 grand, it better have a built in AC as well.

I would wait to see the quality of the helmet first.
Notice the shield connection system on the hinge. They appear to be the same type used on Chinese made Speed and Strength helmets. SS helmets aren't great quality. ![]() http://www.motorangutan.com/apparel/...orcycle-helmet ![]() |

I do think there are good applications for this on the street and am interested in it myself for things like turn-by-turn directions, but like cell phones, I'm sure a lot of riders are going to let it be a distraction. |
