June 6th at MSRH — any spare trailer space?
Doing my first track day with RideSmart at MSRH on the 6th. Anyone got a spare spot on their trailer for my SV650?
I will: - Pay you whatever you deem to be a fair rate - Meet you at your place the morning of - Wear a mask, gloves, and whatever other PPE you require (or ride in the bed of your truck/on the trailer/on my bike on the trailer in a full tuck) I don't own a car, so a U-Haul isn't an option without renting a vehicle. Planning to just ride my bike down otherwise. Thanks! |

hey bud,
I would prefer NOT to ride there together, as my girlfriend is the care taker for her grandparents. They are both 80+ and very susceptible to Covid. So we really want to limit our exposure on that front(I'll be the homopopsical wearing a mask all day). That said, if you go down, I 100% will bring your bike home in the back of my truck. My last trackday was in 2018, and I crashed hard at MSRH and broke my femur into 4 pieces. I also rode my bike to the track that day, and someone was kind enough to get my bike home for me(since I didn't trailer it). There is a thread on it here: https://www.motohouston.com/forums/s...d.php?t=371591 So I'm 1000% happy to pay it forward to you, as I've bought a truck since that time(2016 F150 V8 baby). I'll also be running in Novice with you. I'll be in black/red/white Alpinestars leathers on a Black/Red R6 which is my new, dedicated trackbike. This day is kind of a shakedown for the bike and myself, as I haven't ridden in anger on track since my accident. i can shoot you my number if need be. Let me know brother. |

I really appreciate the offer, although I hope I don't have to cash it in. I'll introduce myself at the track, or if you spot an orange SV650S and a black/blue/white RST suit, that's me. Thanks for reaching out! |

Hey I saw they were not supplying water or food so I brought some extra water and bananas along since I knew you’d be riding you bike out. If you check this I’m on an Orange Zx6r pitting near the restrooms. I’ll try to find you as well. Stephen,

, I just saw this now! Really appreciate the thought though. Thankfully I met up with Gundamnitpete and he hooked me up with a spot in his awning/refreshments. Hope to link up at a future track day.
