Looking at the cone layout coming out of the launch, is that a common track day layout to force the line to the left going into the keyhole section?

Don't ever recall seeing that exaggerated blocking of the inside curb before.

Any particular reason?

I've seen that before when a rider ran off the track and then came back on, bringing dirt into the keyhole section, so they had cones put on that way...

I seem to recall a day when the weepers in that area were pretty bad and we also had cones.

Those were the only 2 rare occasions I can think of.

Yeah it does seem to force you out onto the bumpy part of the launch.

For better or worse I actually use that extreme inside curb with the car and on the bike get pretty close to it.

I was wondering if it might be because the drift cars are starting to tear up the corners maybe - hope not.

Definitely not my natural line, so found it annoying af.

Just got back from a ridemsart day at Cresson. One-day turnaround from Houston and back. Absolutely stuffed. No more bikes for a while.

Ok, but you adapted very well, I would be very put off by swinging wide through the bumps there.

I will be there. Riding beginner as it has been since 2007 that I have done track. Anyone have leathers I can borrow? Was gonna attempt to rent but looks like that is not available?

Ridesmart has free leather rentals. Not sure what org you're attending
